Now this is a blast from the past, a location we have investigated a few times, then it vanished, but just like that the towers have returned.
So why not join the guys from the Ghost Academy and Urban Ghost Stories as we go back to school.
History
Tettenhall Towers in Wolverhampton was built in 1771. It was lived in by Colonel Thomas Thorneycroft, an eccentric industrialist, who be came known for his quirky yet cruel methods of testing various flying inventions. He would launch his servants from the towers, many falling to their deaths. Visitors have said to see Thorneycroft in the theatre room, looking less than pleased with people visiting his former home. The theatre , was a former ballroom that Thorneycroft built. Many child spirits have been seen playing in the attic, stairways and balcony. A mysterious lady, all in white has been seen many times by staff and visitors. She seems to be in the kitchen. Many believe that it is the spirit of the former cook. Other activity includes; unexplainable footsteps, loud knocking noises, whistling in the basement and guests being touched on the balcony.
The Ghosts
You can join the team to explore and investigate this huge, eerie building. You will get access to; the theatre, the stage, balcony, kitchen, the dressing rooms, the basement, the flag tower and the library.
Entering this vast building alone can be a daunting task for many people. It is said that doors slam here when nobody is around, and a tall, dark gentleman dressed in period clothing wanders through the long and eerie corridors. Many people avoid standing alone near the stairway balcony as they feel like they are being pushed over the edge. Lights flicker on and off, and sudden drastic temperature changes are often felt. Do you have the courage to hold vigil in the pitch-black cellars?
Ghost hunts at this location are not for the faint-hearted. Spend a night inside this vast and harrowing building, complete with its grand reception main hall, which is known for poltergeist activity. Dark figures are often spotted moving from room to room in what was once the main house. Disembodied voices, screams, and cries can be heard in the main theatre area. Are you ready to face your fears, unlock the doors, and enter the darkness?
